The week's visible work was a deliberate subtraction on the site itself: a page whose numbered format read as thought-leadership regardless of how specific the paragraphs underneath it were. Hold the Line drew sustained session time but produced no committed code.

The /how-i-build page was removed along with its references across the nav, footer, 404 index, and cross-links from About and Numbers, and its page-only CSS was cleared out. The home page's How I build section stayed, unchanged and still prose. The test suite was reshaped around the new invariant: the assertion of zero rule rows on home was kept as the only guard against the retired format growing back on the page it was just cut from, and a new test asserts that /how-i-build returns 404 so an old bookmark lands on the site's own indexed 404 rather than a stale page.
